This Quality Assurance Performance Programmer/Developer is needed to bring several active, high visibility System Modernization projects to successful completion. The QA Analyst will work on DHS Systems Modernization projects such as ISDS, MMIS, and METS as determined by the States Project Manager. The Quality Assurance Performance Programmer/Developer will be responsible for performing all performance development activities for the System Modernization IT portfolio of projects. These will include several cross-agency projects with key collaborators from MNsure, MNIT@DHS and the Department of Human Services (DHS). The successful responder will be expected to develop and execute performance plans and scripts for all phases of testing, communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all resources involved in a project, and report defects in a timely and accurate fashion while managing multiple priorities and fostering an environment of team building and coordination. The Quality Assurance Performance Programmer/Developer will mentor and support other team resources on MNITs established Quality Assurance Best Practices. It is the ongoing commitment of MNIT to provide technology solutions that are reliable and flexible enough to meet fluctuating customer demand and increasing expectation of 7x24x365 system availability, all while decreasing ongoing support expenses. Resource must be available for forty (40) hour work weeks except for State holidays or other exceptions approved by DHS, and/or identified in the event response. Resource may be expected to work up to fifty (50) hours per week dependent on project volume. This request is for one full time staff augmentation resource. The State anticipates that the resource will not have access to information that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act classifies as "protected health information" and will not have access to information that the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act classifies as "not-public data" on individuals and therefore does not anticipate that vendor will need to enter a business associate or data sharing agreement with the State. Sample Tasks • Develop and execute Performance Test Scripts. • Create and maintain Performance Test Strategy. • Create and maintain Performance Test Plan. • Create and maintain Test Cases. • Create Performance documentation. • Create Test Closure Document. • Assist the Automation Engineer in determining business flows to be scripted and utilized in Performance/Load testing. • Document all defects in the defect tracking tool in an accurate and timely manner. • Escalate all challenges to the appropriate resource(s) in a timely manner. • Communicate effectively both verbally and written. • Attend Defect Review meetings. • Assist in managing the overall scope of the testing effort. • Receive appropriate approval and sign off for all performance testing documentation. • Transfer knowledge to MNIT@DHS staff. • All work will be done at MNIT@DHS offices in St. Paul, MN unless otherwise arranged. • Work must comply with the Statewide Enterprise Architecture. • Work must comply with the States Enterprise Security Policy and Standards. • Work must comply with Statewide Project Management Methodology. • Work must comply with applicabl   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
