We have a 24-month project with our client in Brooklyn, NY that requires a Senior Network Administrator Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work on quality assurance and engineering support tasks, including the review of proposed work plan submissions throughout network infrastructure deployment process in order to ensure that the work aligns to pre-determined work scopes and is consistent with DIIT network standards. Use database to submit and compare Wireless Network Design Plans (WNDPs) with integrator to confirm completion of work. Utilize diagnostic methodologies to determine the cause of network malfunctions and provides remote access support to resolve network-related problems that result from deployment activities. Review and approve work plan submissions by the integrator for the installation of hardware, software. Provide real-time support to integrators when installing equipment in school, and performs troubleshooting services on wireless and network environment, equipment in schools. Ensure consistent quality of production by utilizing automated tools; validating processes; providing documentation. Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms-beyond that of a Programmer. 60-84 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 60 Months supporting day to day network operations that include routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, and network technology. 36 Months of network configuration for network equipment (routing, switching, firewall, and Wireless Access Management). 24 Months providing network configuration and network status reports. 24 Months Preparing network diagrams, floor plans, and schematics using Visio where required 36 Months of Level I, II, and III network support with WAM, LAN trouble shooting. 60 Months configuration experience with Cisco Switches 6xxx, 5xxx, 4xxx, 29xx, 19xx, Cisco Routers 2951,4XXX, Cisco firewalls 5555,5516, Cisco and Aruba wireless controllers, access points and WAM. 48 Months experience working with LAN/WAN infrastructure and all LAN and WAN networking technologies and communication protocols and Cisco communication equipment.
