Within the this function, the Correction team focuses on correcting the impacted accounts, for example; recalculating and/or crediting finance charges, fees, and rewards balances; correcting/changing finance charge and fee structures; initiating customer communications, etc. The Account Corrections Code Validation Analyst (CV Analyst) will be a key member of a larger team of Business Analyst, Correction Analyst, and QA Analyst resources accountable for Customer Account Correction. The CV Analyst will perform end-to-end code to business requirements analysis while confirming correct usage of data sources and standard code, adherence to COE regulations, and following best practice standards. Key Responsibilities Perform code to business requirement validation Validate the data and data sources Effectively trace and communicate the coding defects Document code validation plans and findings Ensure correct formatting and logic of all output files Facilitate resolution and communication of findings Actively engage in process adherence and improvement discussions Strong process/strong analytical skills Qualifications 3 to 5 years experience in a CV or QA Analyst or related role Experience working in U.S. Card Services is a plus/TSYS/C3 Experience (do you know what an option code is? That would be really helpful) Ability to understand complex queries with short deadlines Ability to run multiple UNIX scripts simultaneously Thorough knowledge of database partitioning system and how it functions Experience using SAS (preferred), SQL (required), UNIX (preferred not required in order to navigate UNIX directories), TSYS, and database environments (Teradata, Oracle) Ability to work multiple problems simultaneously Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong analytical skills Detailed and quality oriented Team player with the ability to work independently Right to a face to face to hire, unless the person is not local.Code Validation Analyst The Card Services Account Corrections functional area cares for the identification, classification, fix, and customer impact correction caused by business process or operational breaks.
