This individual will be tasked with coordinating activities supporting more than 200 distinct criminal justice databases. Scope of Work The CJIS team requires a Senior Database Administrator to coordinate the activities concentric with Database Management and support. This individual will satisfy a key role within the CJIS group and is critical to the scope of the CJIS projects including CISS, OBTS and CIDRIS. Responsibilities include: Database performance tuning and monitoring. Perform database maintenance such as table re-organizations, index rebuilds. Perform database migrations and re-loads in application test environments. Perform schema design review and changes for application releases. Develop procedures and functions using database languages. Provide support for day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
