This individual will be expected to work closely with software development managers, product managers, software architects, end users and other IT team members to establish priorities and functional requirements and will function as a lead developer on complex projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Agile Software Engineering with Continuous Integration/Delivery ( CI-CD ) of full-stack mission-critical systems. REST API architecture for multi-device capability. Cross-functional collaboration with customers, product owners, engineering, PMO, etc. Reliable and flexible systems development for constant evolution and longevity. Serve as a leader in the design, development and release cycle of multi-issue team projects Consistently demonstrate expertise in programming proficiency and application knowledge; operate as an advocate for quality software design and current industry practices and concepts. Demonstrate accountability and initiative in the management of multi-issue workloads and take a pro-active role in apprising supervisor on software development progress, create application development plans, functional specifications and project timelines. Adhere to defined specifications, meeting project timelines, participate in the testing phases and create documentation on completed tasks and projects. Serve in an advisory capacity to mentor and coach colleagues, advance the development environment and enhance the programming knowledge of teammates. Investigate new technologies and techniques; design and develop new software methodologies and procedures, working with system architects and other team members to prototype and incubate ideas as requested. Provide 2nd tier software support and carry out other duties as assigned by management. Required Experience: Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting individual. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Education and/or Experience: Information Technology professional with a minimum BS/BA degree in Information Systems (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience. 2+ years of experience working in a Network related software development company is highly desirable Computer Skills: Clearly demonstrated proficiency in Java, JavaScripts and NODEJS. Firm grasp of software design concepts such as Web API, Microservices, Window development, Web Services, Windows Services, XML, JSON Ongoing knowledge of industry concepts, trends and current practices a plus. Languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, C++, HTML5, CSS3/Sass, ES2015, Babel, TypeScript. Frameworks/Libs: Spring Boot, Swagger, Akka, Serverless. UX/UI: AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, SAPUI5, DWR, Angular 2, React. Protocols: REST (JSON/XML/OData), SOAP. Databases: Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, Mariadb, Couchbase.
