This includes reviewing external vendor requirements, contributing to technical design documentation, coding, unit testing, conducting development-led integration testing, and defect resolution throughout all phases. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in server-side (integration/controller layer) web development and a working knowledge of single sign-on concepts. Should be self-motivated & proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills, organized with an ability to handle multiple tasks. Required Skills: 6+ years of web application development experience 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer on Angular 1.5/2+ and JavaScript Financial Services experience a plus Exposure to Agile development methodology is a plus Technical Skills and Knowledge: Java/J2EE XML Web services integration such as SOAP and RESTful Spring MVC Framework JSON JQuery iBatis Veracode and SONAR software scanning tools Knowledge of OAuth, oSAML, SAML 2.0 and WSO2 concepts (highly desirable) Ping Federate (highly desirable) Eclipse STS GIT/Stash; Jenkins Fiddler and/or HTTP Watch Primary Responsibilities: Perform software development using Java technologies Project focus will be on the design and development of new SSO connections Develop concise and clear technical design documents based on analysis of business and vendor requirements Develop and implement technical solutions for a customer facing web application. Follow quality-driven processes including collaborative code design review Provide application support through defect analysis and resolution, impact analysis of technology obsolescence, and assessment of newer software technologies Participate in reviewing compliance with IT governance policies and guidelines.
