Install and configure latest version of Oracle RDBMS (Oracle 12c) with ASM on an existing Oracle T5120 server to act as a disaster recovery server. This database will need to support clients existing instance with approximately 20gb work of database files. The database should be setup as a standby server. The database will be installed on a Solaris 11 container. The database will need to be set up to facilitate a migration from the agencys existing 12c production database. Scripts will also need to be written to allow automatic and manual startup of database and listener at boot as well as remote and automated shutdown on power failure. This can be done via a cron job or an agreed upon methodology. 2. Upgrade existing Oracle RDMBS11gR2 developer database to Oracle RDBMS12c. 3. Configure FRA/RMAN and implement best practices for database backup and recovery and management of backups and archivelogs on a new Oracle 12c production database installation as well as on a developer and disaster recovery database instance. RMAN should run daily. Setup should include scripted back up of data, control files, archivelogs, etc. and management of archivelogs (scheduled deletion after required backups) and FRA (Flash/Fast Recovery Area). Required Skills: * Oracle 11gR2 and 12c database administrator experience- Oracle database installations and configurations. (Include years of experience. Include list of Oracle database installation version numbers and total number of installations for each and on which platform/operating system.) * Oracle database administrator experience- RMAN configurations. (Include years of experience. Include database version and total number of installations for each and on which platform/operating system.) * Solaris experience. (Include total number of years of experience installing and configuring Oracle products in a Solaris environment. Include Solaris versions and years of experience with each.) * Oracle database administrator experience- OEM/12c Cloud Control installations and configurations. (Include years of experience.
