While this person will serve multiple functions, their primary responsibility will be working with the Development Teams (off-shore and on) and the Business (end user) to make sure requirements align. The ideal fit will have a technical background with a functional understanding of WMS. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops extensible solutions with the team in mind and can identify and provide guidance to correct complex defects • Reviews applications to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design • Defines and performs complex systems administration tasks and develops cross system automation scripts • Participates in the resolution of complex production support activities • Accountable for team dependencies and critical paths • Contributes to product roadmaps • Identifies and recommends complex business functions and integration solutions • Responsible for team dependencies and critical paths • Anticipates risks and provides contingency solutions and timelines • Measurably improves processes and best practices to achieve goals • Assesses the work quality and effectiveness of the agreement of contract resource arrangements • Participates in development of contract resource agreements, including deliverables and SLAs Desired Previous Experience: • 5+ years of relevant work experience • Background working on Supply Chain Applications, including Warehouse Management System, Final Mile, Transportation Management, Rate Shopping tools (Proship etc). • Experience working in both Agile as well as waterfall methodologies • Experience in AS400/RPG programming • Familiar with industry standards around IT change management and development deployments Desired Technical Experience: • Experience with cross-platform integration between the iSeries and .NET and/or java applications • RPG/400, ILE RPG, Embedded SQL • Stored Procedures • COBOL, ILE COBOL • DB2 • Aldon/LMi • SQL   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
