DBMHS is seeking a consultant with strong customer-oriented consultative skills, strong technology and troubleshooting skills. In this role, the consultant will provide support for DBMHS, with an emphasis on the Mental Health Expansion. This position is a combination of consulting and providing technical assistance to DBMHS. Duties: • Serve as a functional system expert for the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) and familiarity with the four (4) major components of RPMS (hardware, software, network, and database) • Provides technical guidance and consultation to consultants and staff who are assigned tasks associated to RPMS • Address concerns and/or challenges on RPMS functionality or project scope to the appropriate staff within DBMHS • Provide guidance and/or recommendations on IT solutions and system processes that address DBMHS needs and adhere to current and future IT strategic direction with regards to RPMS and associative programs • Communicate to administrative staff and DBMHS IT Specialists for world-wide best practice expertise and collaboration for RPMS cross-relational system functionality • Have a solid foundational knowledge of data operations, data governance, data quality and data backup • Participates in business reporting to DBMHS personnel and requirement gathering as relating to RPMS • Focuses on end-to-end processes and on cross functional impact • Communicate mental health processes relating to DBMHS requirements • Supports functional cross functional, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing • RPMS Project Lead in the development of end user training and knowledge transfer to trainers • Work effectively across functional and technical entities to ensure communication and coordination of the solution and its delivery • Assist and provide technical assistance and support for drafting a mental health expansion proposal Experience: • Minimum five (5) years IT project and/or support experience with extensive knowledge of Electronic Healthcare software and hardware systems utilized by Indian Health Services in which the RPMS supports preferred • Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers • Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Windows7, Windows 10, Win2003/2008/2016 Server, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS • Experience in troubleshooting network related issues that can be related to network infrastructure such as switches and routers • Excellent analysis, communication and documentation skills required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
