Provide systems administration, operational support and problem resolution for more complex server systems. Coordinate the installation and upgrades of hardware and software. Interact with IT staff and vendors regarding complex testing or troubleshooting issues. Provide user training and documents standards and operating procedures. Provide input on budget, strategic & tactical planning, process improvements, and engineering design. Present project status, issues and other key information to management, peers and stakeholders. Provide effective communication at all levels of management, peers and customers through clarity of expression and the ability to organize thoughts both written and oral. Job requires a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; and ten years of work experience in AIX systems operations and administration or telecommunications network operations.
