This individual will focus on Static Analysis Security Testing (SAST) tools and their integration into CI/CD tool chains. The engineer will evaluate SAST tools, customize SAST tools, develop documentation, collaborate with build and release teams to incorporate SAST into their processes, etc. Must be able to write Java and .NET scan rules for Checkmarx that have parity with our Fortify rules so that teams can automate remediation validation in the CI/CD pipeline. Expand EASP scan ruleset to have parity with Security Code Review (SCR) scan rules so that teams with Publicly Accessible Applications (PAA) can identify and remediation defects earlier in the SDLC. Review claimed false positives in scan results, provide appropriate guidance to claimants, and use analysis to tune rules. Produce reports showing commonly and incorrectly reported false positives. Analyze scan results and scanned source code to determine whether rules are properly tuned. Provide SAST tool consultative support to ASCs and other SMEs helping teams with remediation.
