The ideal candidates will exhibit creative and independent decision-making skills that are needed to be successful in this role. Key areas of responsibility include: • Working with OCIO leadership and the Department of Administrative Services Procurement and Contract Enterprise to determine proper sourcing strategies for each OCIO initiative. • Writing and editing contracts on behalf of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) for IT goods and services. • This person will negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors. • The contingent worker will track current contracts and coordinates contract extension, waiver, and close-out. • Champions contract policy and procedure revision and improvement • Works directly with Vendors to build relationships, to ensure performance, and maintain compliance with OCIO contractual terms and conditions. • Ensure contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support the implementation 3 years relevant experience or bachelors degree in business or a related field plus 1 years relevant experience or post-graduate degree in a related field (JD, MBA, etc).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
