This position is in a group that manages the following network infrastructure: Network devices including: * Routers * Switches * wireless access points * UPS devices B2B & SSL VPN F5 load balancers SONET/DWDM IP addressing Cisco Unified Communications Juniper environment including SRX/NSM/IC/Junos Space, including in-depth knowledge of firewall rule set creation and maintenance Niksun, RSA SecurID, or Trustwave proxy technologies Must be knowledgeable of network protocols This role will include operational responsibilities on the above technologies, which include: Incident ticket resolution to meet OLA/SLAs Diagnose problems and participate in Root Cause Analysis as required Perform fulfillment tasks as part of project work Perform proactive maintenance on UPS and WAPs In addition, the candidate should be able to performing advanced troubleshooting across a number of technologies as required, complete documentation and build efficient processes for the operations of designed solutions. The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-directed team player who can bring a high level of technical experience into the team and provide a can-do attitude. Required Qualifications * Five plus (5+) years of hands-on technical experience on a large enterprise network consisting of 25+ sites * Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to think strategically * Strong written and verbal communications and must effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.. * On-call support 24x7 as required along with evening and weekend work when required * Must be able to achieve and maintain the required NERC-CIP, Nuclear Data Access, and other corporate or departmental certifications, training, and/or clearances needed to have appropriate accesses to the PPL environment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
