Job Description :

Apex Systems, the nations 2nd largest IT Staffing organization, has an immediate and high profile opportunity for an SOA QA Tester to work for a large, American, retail organization located in Cincinnati, OH.



Applicants must have 6+ years of Quality Assurance experience.



Company & Group Details of SOA Tester:

Work predominantly with Research and Development.
Tester will provide support in developing SOA/integration interface test plans and estimates. This includes automated test script development, execution of service test scripts, reporting/tracking defects.
Tester may also contribute to functional testing while proof of concept is in progress.



Responsibilities of SOA Tester:

Work in various testing environments, including Waterfall and SAFe Agile.
Participate in the web application technical design process with the Application Architects on Internet and eCommerce related development projects.
Test Web Services using CA Lisa, or DevTest automated scripts.
Test Web Services using SDLC best practices.
Participate in all phases of web services testing.
Contribute to test automation scripting standards and best practices.
Understand SOA Reference Architecture.
Elicit & understand SOA testing requirements.

Requirements for SOA Tester:

6+ years experience of software quality assurance
6+ years experience of hands-on, automation testing of integration web services (both REST and SOAP protocols), including database validations.
A demonstrated experience in XML, XSD, XPath, MQTT, Topics, HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, Bytes array message format or Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)
Experience in SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches.
5+ years experience of test automation using DevTest/Lisa/SOAP UI
Java/JavaScript programming with Selenium a plus.
3+ years experience working with Agile/Scrum testing environment
5+ years experience using Quality Center/ALM for test case management
3+ years of using JIRA for user story management and defect tracking
