It would be more important for someone to have strong data sourcing; extract, transform, load (ETL); and data warehousing experience than data visualization experience. From a Microsoft perspective, this would be SSIS (and SSAS); Informatica is another similar, non-Microsoft tool. Although we are using the Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) stack, we would consider individuals who have a deep understanding of data sourcing, ETL concepts, and data warehousing, even if they do not have direct experience with MSBI. Responsible for the identification, definition, and modeling of technical application requirements, data, and distribution to satisfy the application solution in either a project or support role. Responsible for the analysis and detailed design of the solution. Responsible for the implementation of architectural designs in partnership with architects. Responsible for the definition of physical program units. Responsible for the development and enhancement of logical and physical system blueprints, technical proofs of concept, prototypes, frameworks, services, and other components. May be engaged in both project and support activities, including standards and process adherence. Typically a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the role. Specifically, this position is within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) train on a team accountable for end-to-end development and support of cybersecurity / IT risk management metrics and risk reporting, which are managed as a product. The selected candidate will be a member of the development team in a Scrum-oriented environment. As such, the selected candidate will be focused primarily, although not exclusively, on data sourcing, integration, ETL, warehousing, and quality, with the potential for data modeling and report development. * Expert-level experience with data warehousing concepts and tools, including, but not limited to, highly complex SQL queries, data sourcing methodologies, ETL, and data quality services * Unusually strong aptitude for learning quickly and on the fly, with a commitment to maintaining strong technical skills * Exceptional "A" team player with a strong desire to openly share knowledge and collaborate with others * Experience with or demonstrated ability to quickly learn the following: ** Microsoft Visual Studio ** Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, DQS, MDS, DAX, MDX, Power BI, etc.) ** Tabular model database design   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
