Hands-on expertise with SAN & NAS architecture, configuration, administration, provisioning & troubleshooting with technologies from: EMC (Symmetrix, VMAX, Isilon, Centerra), Hitachi (VSP), Brocade, Cisco, NetApp . Individual must be highly process oriented (ITIL certification preferred) with a focus on metrics tracking for Change Mgt, Incident Mgt & Problem Mgt, End User Support, Audit / LCD Compliance / IT Risk / Corp Security review, Release & Config Mgt, Capacity, Provisioning & Supply chain Mgt, Event Mgt, Vendor Mgt. In depth Performance analysis and tuning on SAN and NAS storage platforms is a big plus. Must have prior experience in analyzing data and provide recommendations using Storage performance management tools e.g. EMC Unisphere/SPA, Hitachi Tuning Manager Knowledge of both Unix (Solaris) and Linux (Red Hat & SLES), Windows and Vmware ESX platform is desirable. Knowledge of system management tools such as Control-M ,Netbackup, EMC Powerpath , Veritas VM, DMP software will be helpful. Job responsibilities: Responsible for Providing Level 2 production support on SAN and NAS storage technologies that includes Incident, Problem, Change, Security, Audit and Capacity management. Implementation and maintenance of the Disaster Recovery hardware and failover/failback processes Individual should possess project & program management expertise with a focus on delivery execution & excellence. Tracking delivery milestones, timelines, resources & related budgets. Responsible for Evaluation and implementation of new storage solutions The ability to manage an individual book and maintain consistent team interaction is critical. Individual must be comfortable with evening and/or weekend work hours to accommodate common change activities and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
