This individual will design and launch high-priority workstreams, coordinating consultants, project managers, and NC HIEA subject-matter experts. Once the processes are defined and moving, the Lead will transition day-to-day management to permanent staff while remaining available for strategic guidance. Key Responsibilities: On boarding Process Design – Create and launch a unified onboarding model that reduces connection time, establishes clear metrics, and integrates supporting technologies. State Health Plan Strategy – Initiate a joint NC HIEA–SHP data strategy and governance framework, expand provider connections, and set up early use cases (care management, population health, quality measurement). Enterprise Policy Support – Provide high-level policy analysis and strategic planning on other emerging priorities, ensuring smooth hand-off to permanent teams once direction is set. Coordinate cross-functional staff and external vendors, keeping stakeholders engaged and progress visible. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in health informatics, public health, policy, information systems, or related field (Masters preferred). Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder health IT or policy projects from concept to launch. Knowledge of health information exchange, EHR integration, healthcare data standards, and privacy/security requirements.
