Leadership within and across teams General Role and Structure: - Coordinates across a matrix organization and is part of the program team responsible for the continuous improvement and safeguarding of Lexmarks SAP Landscape. This position will coordinate with the ERP COE, IT COC, IT Architecture and IT Operations to ensure the SAP Landscape is capable of meeting Lexmarks business objectives. - This position is responsible for the following as they pertain to the SAP Landscape: Infrastructure Strategy and Implementation, Application Management, and understanding how to meet Lexmarks Business Requirements with the ERP COE Team : (1.) Program management for the provision by third parties of connectivity, hardware, and software for each instance of the project software as required for the project (Environments) to support the SAP Landscape which may include: - Remote Environments provided by the software vendor, the systems integrator or other third parties; - Environments located in the Lexington Data Center; - Development, test, QA, training, and other project and non-production Environments; and - Production Environments (2.) Infrastructure and Environment Strategy will include: - Establishing appropriate contract terms for the Environments with third party providers, whether hosting the Environments remotely or supporting them in the Lexington Data Center; - Establishing appropriate service levels for the Environments and the services to support the Environments; - Tracking and coordinating the plans and activities of third parties and Lexmark personnel relating to the establishment, maintenance, upgrading, migration, and discontinuance of project and post-project Environments; - Tracking contract and service level compliance; - Coordinating resolution activities; - Managing delivery of root cause analyses for problems relating to the Environments; - Managing the adoption of a satisfactory configuration management policy and activities required by that policy; - Reporting the status of the implementation to the appropriate management teams; (3.) Quality and Efficiency this position will apply Lean Six Sigma techniques to the Environments and the activities to support the Environments to enhance the value of the Environments to the SAP Landscape while reducing cost. (4.) Training and Knowledge Transfer- this position will coordinate training, delivery of documentation, and facilitate knowledge transfer from the program team to the IT Operations, IT Architecture, COE, and SAP COE personnel. Key Objectives: Identify process improvement opportunities and process automation opportunities across all geo operations and utilize Lean Six Sigma improvement techniques to change current business processes Communicate effectively across all levels to build consensus around projects, initiatives, and provide periodic updates.
