KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build predictive models in statistical programming tools (SAS, R) using advanced data science concepts (e.g., Marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis, time series modeling) * Develop and execute approaches to analyze information relating to retail customer behavior, including segmentation, migration, and valuation * Recommend analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of behavior within or across defined segments, markets and other logical groupings * Develop SQL code to query and link large relational data sets (billions of transaction records) in Teradata platform REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 4-7+ years of experience generating business insights through data and analysis with Bachelors degree; or 2+ years of experience with Masters degree or equivalent in an analytic discipline; or a PhD in an analytic discipline * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong oral and written communication skills * Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly * High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail * Expertise with SAS, R, and Python or scripting language is required * Expertise in SQL and related experience working in an enterprise data environment * Solid background and experience in Excel and Power Point is required * Position is based on-site in 1026 Park East Drive, once COVID restrictions allow.
