Must be hands on enough to Architect solutions that span across Data and SOA/ESB/ETL/Rules Engine/Workflow Engines technologies, Meta Data, Data Modeling, Master Data Management, Operational Data Store, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Reporting, Analytics, Taxonomies, Technology/Tools associated with Data Architecture such as RDMS, BI tools, Big Data platforms. Experience in database design methodologies, database architectures; ETL tools and related integration technologies. Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments with a broad understanding of technology including OS/390 systems architecture, UNIX architecture, WinTel architecture, systems design, requirement/interface design and analysis, Web trends, multi-media tools, network infrastructure, project planning, estimating, tracking, change management In depth experience with SOA, and Rules Engines. Experience in metadata management and repository strategy to manage all enterprise information architecture project artifacts. Monitor emerging industry standards (such as XML, RDF, OWL and XBRL) to determine impact on enterprise information architecture. Experience designing and implementing high performance data structures. Experience in data modeling, including logical and physical model design. Preferred Technical Skills: A strong background in data, workflow and enterprise information systems is highly preferred. We would like to see these candidates have a background in Financial Services, Financial Systems, Health Care, or Health Care Actuarial systems.
