Job Description : Java SDET Optum | Remote 6 Month+ Contract Responsibilities: • Design and develop automation frameworks using Java, Cucumber, TestNG • Mentor the team within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Serve as a mentor to less experienced QA / QE members within the team • Provide technical support and consultation for Automation and QA process related questions • Deploy on cloud environment • Identify production and non-production application issues • Establish, refine and integrate automation tools with dev & test environment software as needed • Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA • Ensure extensive test coverage • Be capable of building, deploying and managing own environment • Develop quality automation code and maintaining the same • Database testing • Test plan, test case, and test script creation and execution • Requirements analysis and estimation • Environment validation • Investigate issues and provide analysis • Defect and trend tracking, reporting, and analysis • Use of QA methodology and processes • Be a member of Scrum team • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems Requirements: • 9+ or more years of previous experience with software quality assurance and/or software testing • Previous experience creating and/or executing test plans, test cases, or test scripts • Automation testing experience; Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) setting and Agile methodologies • Write and execute automated tests using Selenium/Java, Cucumber, Eclipse, GIT, ATDD, Appium, SauceLabs, Perfecto • Execute/Deliver in Sprint & Regression Automation • Customization/upgradation of Automation framework as per project/application requirement • Deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL • Expertise on Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin and Jenkins • Expertise in Database testing and automated testing • Knowledge of or experience with the System Development Life Cycle and software testing practices • HIPAA format knowledge (837, 835, 277, NCPDP, 999, 8ER) • Agile methodology • Proven leadership, able to influence without authority • Ability to participate as a member of a cross functional team • Proactive individual who takes ownership of issues • Good team player with constantly interact with other team members • Engineer automated test and metric reporting solutions, Any additional knowledge on Excel macro development would be an added advantage • Ownership and accountability for the assigned tasks • Be a member of scrum team • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problem • Analyze and investigate • Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise Must Have Skills: • Selenium/Java, • Cucumber • Eclipse • GIT • ATDD • SQL • Gherkin • Jenkins   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
