Description : It requires the services of oneScrum Master, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Project Lead 2 Category, Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document. The Worker will lead and provide day-to-day management guidance and direction to scrum teams in the execution of work for implementation of new solutions, including but not limited to updating various Tax application solutions. The Worker will perform these tasks: • Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings. • Recognizes and removes the impediments for the scrum (development) team. • Assesses performance of teams and programs, finds opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations and implements changes and steps to increase the teams productivity. • Works with product owners, and internal customers, to maintain requirements backlog and conduct requirements elaborations • Mentors product owners, internal customers, project managers, developers and others in agile principles and leading industry practices. • Contributes to development and sharing of agile standard methodologies • Ensures the correct use of scrum process working as an agile team member of the Applications Services area. • Collaborates with other scrum masters to improve the methodologies efficiency. • Provides detailed metrics and dashboard covering tasks, assigned resources, and story points including burn down charts WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements: Skills/Experience: * Extensive knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology with knowledge and experience applying Agile practices and principles including Scrum and/or Kanban including demonstrated ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations * Experience as a Scrum Master on large projects including: • Experience performing Scrum Ceremonies (Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) • Experience with backlog refinement • Experience creating burndown charts and reporting to management * Experience with highly complex application security requirements * Strong experience as a Scrum Master and software development methodologies and proven ability to lead scrum teams in the execution of project tasks and providing monitoring including risk/issues management * Experience in project management including Agile and other SDLC methodologies plus knowledge of software development methodologies, testing, design, and implementations * Agile Scrum Master Certification Preferences: Skills/Experience: * Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint * Proficient with Jira and Confluence * Experience with assessing performance of teams and programs and finding opportunities for improvement then making recommendations. * Experience with Mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Project Managers, teams and others on processes and behaviors that align with Agile methodologies. * Experience Texas CPA Systems   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
