The Project Manager is an Information Technology (IT) position that will lead the modernization effort of the Nursing Facility Administrator, Certified Nurse Aide and Medication Aide licensing systems. The new professional licensing system will become part of the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal (TULIP), build on the existing Salesforce platform, and replace the 3 legacy systems. This project will be performed in collaboration with the Long-Term Care Regulatory Services program within the Health and Human Services Systems business domain. The worker will be responsible for managing the initiative as an agile project using scrum. The project will involve an internal business unit and a few external organizations; good communication and organizational skills are critical for the success of the project. The worker must be skilled with risk management and mitigation to balance requirements, scope, and issues while delivering a successful project. The worker will need to possess good mediation skills for dealing with business units with conflicting requirements.
