Main skills required: Enterprise Data Modeling Logical data models, best practices, gathering data requirements with business Data Quality audit, reconcile and cleanse source Master Data Management (MDM) data Train/mentor/coach development teams in data modeling Develop and refine data models that support business requirements Integrate data architecture with SDLC process Technical Requirements: 5 Years of Data Architecture and Data Modeling experience Technical proficiency on data architecture tools Experience developing strategic solutions to complex business problems Experience developing central data architecture artifacts and repository Strong analysis skills Ability to interface and bridge the gap with business analysts Able to work well with business people Understanding and use of database management systems (Oracle, DB2) Experience being part of an architecture team and working with business, application, technology, and enterprise architects Superior level of practical and theoretical technical knowledge Full software development lifecycle experience SAS experience Other requirements: Bachelors degree in a technology related discipline Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Architect and Data Modeler and 10 years in software development Skilled in both business and IT processes Detailed level of architecture skills and experience spanning various technologies and platforms Strong business analysis skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including those needed for formal and informal presentations.
