Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources, and developing and managing schedules to ensure the timely completion of project within budget and timeline. Must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Job Responsibilities Manages one or more projects Fosters increased organizational maturity in project management and is a champion of PM processes. Assures that best practices are applied to all projects. Manages the successful creation, modification expansion and transition of complex information systems, related processes and programs on all projects for the assigned areas. Anticipates, evaluates and resolves multiple, simultaneous organizational project issues and risks, delays and problems by utilizing project management and business expertise. Promotes and develops communication and coordination between or among project team members and management Creates and manages project documentation. Comply with practices, policies, procedures, legal requirements, and goals of project sponsors and approved methodologies. Acts as a workflow coordinator to ensure resources are being optimally utilized. Basic Qualifications: College degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or the Life Sciences preferred with 8+ years related experience or its equivalent.
