This role acts as a single point of contact for IT development projects, responsible for leading the implementation of new hardware and software development initiatives based on specific priority needs with respect to IT Security. They lead technical teams of individuals following a standard Project Management Methodology established and monitored by the Information Technology Project Management Office. PM Qualifications: Experience required includes but is not limited to: • PM with mid-level (5-7+ years professional experience) in both project management and information security. • PMP certifications preferred such as PMIs PMP and/or ITIL. • Knowledge and experience with standard PMO- Project Management Methodology required. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and projects across matrixed global teams. • Experience with work flows, process re-engineering or similar functions • Project Management experience with applications in Windows, Internet, and Mainframe environment. • It is desirable for this candidate to have experience with the applications across the agencies being serviced or experience with applications that span many divisions in an organization. • A strong understanding and experience with Software Development Life Cycle Methodology. • Experience using MS Project and resource allocation to build work breakdown structures • Experience managing multiple projects - each having 5 resources or more. Security Qualifications: • Security clearance is not required but must be able to pass criminal and credit check. • Knowledge of regulations and security compliance requirements such as PCI DSS, GLBA, and SOX • Experience in any of the following security technologies is a plus (ex - HIDS (Host-based intrusion detection services), NIDS (Network based intrusion detection services), WIDS (Wireless network based IDS), Antivirus, Security Log Monitoring, ID Access Management, and Perimeter Assessments/Penetration Testing. • Good communication in English, both oral and written (presentations, technical reports and proposals) required. • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities; • Experience with remote teams to ensure projects complete on time. You may need to educate team members about general security process. • Managed a portfolio of complex project where the PM needs to be politically savvy. • Familiarity with common application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top10) • Working knowledge of SOA and SOA security features is a plus. • Experience writing and/or reviewing security policies is a plus Mandatory Requirements: • Strong knowledge of IT Security solutions – prefer someone who has worked in a IT Security environment • Strong knowledge of Industry standard Project Management Methodology • Strong problem solver – takes pride in getting it done • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills • PMP Certification strongly preferred • Bachelors degree preferred   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
