The primary purpose of this position is to develop a mainframe interface. Required Skills: * Minimum 5 years of full life-cycle development experience and knowledge of the principles of application systems development * Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment * Experience programming, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining application systems in a mainframe environment * Extensive expertise in Problem Analysis and Issue Resolution * Knowledge of structured programming techniques and various software to include COBOL, IMS, Zeke, XPTR, JCL and CA Tools and utilities * Experience with structured system development methodologies * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to produce technical procedures and documentation * Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.
