Immediate day to day duties would be to partner with the OPD staff to learn and support the new/existing system(s)/applications being developed by a third-party vendor and to be deployed soon as well utilized by staff presently. We have various offices located throughout NJ and various programs to support. This individual will have to learn the business, programs and their respective policies, workflows, agency IT and policies, APIs/Interfaces, SQL Server, SQL Database, SDLC, Relational Database concepts and technologies, etc. to support and enhance this system further for end-to-end workflow so that our attorneys and investigators can continue to meet their mission and goals. Candidate should possess technical skillset to achieve modernization, optimization and improvisation of agencys application/web development. Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days from home. First month or so will be 100% in the office. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS: Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.) Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.) Two (2) years of work experience as an Application Systems Analysis/Programming-Specialist; Application Systems Analysis/Programming-Intermediate; Application Developer-Senior may substitute for all of the required experience. Required Education - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field.
