Your role will focus on working with OCIO, AMS, BPM, BOO, business and development team to modify and maintain existing infrastructure to assure compliance with Dell policy and security as well as co-ordinate with L3 team to evaluate production support remedy tickets who evaluates the root cause and propose design / code / configuration changes to fix problems. You will be the point of contact for all the communication to the stake holders setting up the right priorities and expectations. This position reports to the IT Sr. Manager of App Support team. Role Responsibilities: 1) L3 Activities: Plan and co-ordinate L3 application support deployments for HR & Corp IT applications Manage daily operational calls with AMS team to monitor i. Nightly batch process, message queues, SLAs etc., ii. Remedy L3 task tickets New, backlog Assign remedy tickets to the L3 team and drive the team for the incident closure Co-ordinate with development team to work on Data Classification document and update the entire production and non-production application server with relevant ownership in Troux. Gather L3 metrics and prepare slides to be presented in management meetings. Plan and co-ordinate data refresh activities in non-production environments when need demands. Acts as a source for L3 escalation. 2) Infrastructure Activities: Plan and manage hardware/software lifecycles in HR & Corp IT application space Responsible for working with Vendors like Oracle, Taleo etc., for one-off solutions, patches, maintenance packs etc., Co-ordinate activities with shared service teams when applying security patches, monitoring agents in production & non-production environments Acts as a source for system escalation Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Investigates and resolves system problems and system performance Provides ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements, innovations and solutions Responsible for following Dell specific systems engineering standards. Requirements: 1) Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experience Basic project management, SDLC and/or life-cycle management for technology solutions 2) Technical Skills: Working knowledge on technologies like PeopleSoft, OBIEE, .NET, Java, PL/SQL, SOA Oracle DB, SQL server DB, Microsoft Portal technology.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
