This software / QA will be responsible to Design, develop, and maintain test scenarios (manual and automated), and all appropriate test data. Develop testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives Produce and report test metrics Enhance and extend test automation frameworks Identify quality tasks during team sprint cycle and think about testing and automation strategies, estimate test efforts, and implement automation for new features Analyze and communicate test results and defect tracking Participate in performance and load test efforts Assist in the planning, creation, and control of test environments Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes and provide recommendations for improvement to eliminate redundancies in testing and improve efficiency Innovate in best automation, Agile and continuous testing practices by trying new frameworks and technologies on the market and recommending their use Mentor the team and individuals on best automation and QA practices, design, and implementation. Communicate testing risks and issues to stakeholders, including remediation and contingency plans Represent QA to project stakeholder(s), IT, and business leadership Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team leadership experience Experience working with collaboration tools (Ex: Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA, etc.) Proven work experience in software development Proven work experience in software quality assurance Experience with health care applications and health claims data Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Experience with test management tools Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing Hands-on experience with automated testing tools Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
