Design, documentation and implementation of CDMA and LTE modem platform software features for CDMA operators and market as per the operator requirement and industry standard / specification 2. Collaboration with CDMA platform vendor and hardware platform organization as well as product R&D team in design and development of software artifacts and in finding resolution for software issues 3. Collaboration with verification engineers in defining / designing CDMA software verification test cases and plans and following up on test results to close the issues 4. Participation in type approval and customer acceptance process to analyze and resolve the CDMA platform software issues timely and effectively 5. Effective and efficient communication, knowledge sharing and status reporting to stake holders, project and line management in both verbal and written form such as e-mail, documentation, and wiki. Responsibilities: 1. Ensure effective, efficient and innovative design and implementation of CDMA and LTE modem platform software features for global CDMA operators and markets 2. Proactively participate and demonstrate leadership in the technical collaboration with technology vendors and hardware platform team in defining / designing software artifacts and resolving technical issues 3. Proactively participate in the process of software verification, type approval and operator acceptance to make sure delivery of platform software features and resolution to the issues on time with accepted quality 4. Ensure the communication and report in verbal and written form are effective, timely, clear and appropriate with the mutual respect and team spirit in full consideration. 5. Ensure full compliance to the organizations development process at the same time proactively proposing and participating in defining innovative and effective way of working. Qualifications: 1. Minimum BS degree in electrical engineering, computer software engineering, or a related discipline required. 2. Minimum 6 years of software development experience in mobile embedded products required. 3. Minimum 3 years of software development experience in CDMA and/or LTE modem technology especially on RIL, telephony and wireless data stack is required 4. Experience in Qualcomms CDMA mobile station platform is a plus 5. Experience in Android BSP software development and Linux tool chains is required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
