Highly skilled PM with P&C insurance knowledge/background to manage one or more medium to large complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Looking for a PM to be able to pick up any of the upcoming projects that could span data, infrastructure, business process, business applications or any number of other projects that may arise. Project Management Skills: - Experience and thorough understanding of the PMI-based Project Management Life Cycle - Lead project team to deliver business and technical objectives on-time, within budget and to specification - Create MS Project schedule using Dynamic Scheduling, and utilize the schedule to communicate and manage the work - Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule - Prepare project for governance gate approvals - Demonstrated experience in managing projects in risk and dependency rich environment Professional Background: - Experience in delivering technical solutions from concept, selection, installation, testing and implementation - General understanding of data-related projects and infrastructure - Have worked in medium to large corporate environments, insurance (P&C) and/or financial services industry - Experience with the SDLC, familiarity with agile/iterative methods not required but preferred - Experience with transformational frameworks CMMI, PSP/TSP and/or business process re-engineering (BPR) not required but preferred - Background in business analysis not required but preferred Personal Skills: - Comfortable relaying project details to "C" level senior management - Engage directly with internal business clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into delivery plans - Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project interdependencies - Establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members - Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, address issues and conduct pros and cons evaluations toward resolution - Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets - Possess excellent communication skills; personal, written and presentation - Ability to multi-task, requiring experience in technology, business acumen, coordination skills, and supervisory competence to effectively and efficiently manage the progression and ultimate completion - Consistently deliver high-quality services to our clients   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
