The developer will be responsible for participating in the full life-cycle development including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of the User Interface to support the management of Plan Data required for defined benefit pension plan calculations. This positions primary focus will be on front-end technical design and implementation. The developer must take ownership of projects/tasks/issues and work them through completion; develop and maintain comprehensive architecture and integration documentation; and participate in code reviews to ensure processes support existing architecture, follow defined guidelines and coding standards and meet user requirements. In addition, the developer will collaborate with end users and provide exceptional customer service by becoming a trusted business advisor. The developer shall have the following qualifications and requirements as defined below: Five (5) plus years of progressive application systems development experience utilizing a full SDLC. 3-6 years of experience building applications using C#, MVC and the .Net 4+ framework. Development experience using JavaScript, Angular.js, Backbone.js, CSS, and HTML5. Two to four (2-4) years experience with relational databases. Experience using common software design patterns (e.g., the Factory, Singleton, Adapter, Decorator, Visitor, and Strategy patterns). Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks. Understanding of the S.O.L.I.D. principles of software development. Experience with Test-first development using TDD or BDD. Understanding of Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control. Knowledge of xUnit.net, Moq, Autofac, and Entity Framework are a plus. Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus. 3-6 years experience designing and building actuarial systems is a plus and understanding of defined benefit pension plans is a plus.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
