Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required: ? Experience in the programming of application systems ? Strong knowledge of structured programming techniques, system development methodologies and various software to include minimum 3-5 years of full life-cycle development experience using VA GEN, DB2, TSO/ISPF, JCL, COBOL, and Microsoft Office ? Experience with data transfer and interface methodologies between mainframes and mainframe to servers and distributed server environments in a statewide environment ? Ability to produce technical procedures and documentation ? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users ? Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures ? Ability to work independently and perform job with minimal supervision Preferred: ? Experience with IBM Websphere, IBM Rational Developer for System z, CA utility tools, CICS, VSAM, Zeke, XPTR ? Knowledge and experience with State Government systems Additional Information: ?
