Work closely with the Architects from Enterprise Architecture organization, Functional Lead IT team and the business users to plan, define, build, deploy and communicate various solutions for the organization. Work through all phases of the SDLC including coordinating focus groups and workshops to discuss requirements. Experiment with new tools to design and develop solutions, and coordinate technical team responsible for development. Test implementations with quality team and tools, and deploy solutions. Specific responsibilities include: Work with and coordinate team of internal and external 3rd party technical resources performing analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities for our applications Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility Support analysis and estimation of project pipeline, including assessing budget, risks, quality, and schedule for technical delivery Responsible for development, technical testing, deployment plan, and transition to Run Ensure internal and external 3rd party resources comply with the Biogen SDLC methodology to ensure the delivery of highly scalable and secure solutions that are optimized for performance Ensure Testing Center Of Excellence is leveraged appropriately for testing activities to ensure solution quality Coordinate with third-party system integrators/vendors Ownership and escalation of relevant technical risks and issues Support Run organization to ensure existing systems are meeting stability, performance, and capacity requirements Qualifications Experience must include: IT functional design and effort estimates TrackWise Quality Management System (version 8.5+), including Trackwise migrator and Import utilities, troubleshooting Trackwise applications, and creation of process groups, workflows, notifications, coordinator activities & group categories. GMP validation software HP Lifecycle Management Crystal Reports Working with SQL to query, create, and update tables, materialized views, and database links. Presenting to senior IT and Business colleagues Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and architecture designs into system designs Demonstrated ability to track project activities and track progress to business value realization.
