Responsibilities: Software development implementations of HL7, EDI/X12, XML and other customized solutions and specifications for interfaces, taking high-level requirements and producing robust solutions, within predefined timelines, scope limitations, and in accordance with Agile SDLC methodology; Participate in all aspects of the software development process, including architecture, design, implementation, release, and maintenance Research, planning, estimation, design, while ensuring that customizations and integration components are meeting the business needs; Stays abreast of industry technology, trends and best practices Maintain compliance with Inovalon s policies, procedures and mission statement Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company Qualifications: Bachelor degree in a technical discipline and related fields (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Information Systems). Master degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience in various integration framework and interfaces, preferably health care industry. 2+ years developing XML schema, Web Services and Data Services. Should have relevant experience of minimum 3-4 years in HL7 (V.2/V.3) Interface development Experience working with interface engines (Preferably Rhapsody ) and clinical workflows or healthcare workflows Knowledge of the various HL7 acknowledgement types and common industry practices when working with HL7 acknowledgement Experience integrating the Health Enterprise (IHE) Infrastructure Profiles such as XCA, XDS, PDQ, PIX, XDR, XCPD, etc.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
