Minimum 3 years of experience in web application design and development. Minimum 3 years of experience leading other developers. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related area of study, or other degree with additional 3 years of practical experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Lead team of 4 or more developers including employees, on-site consultants, and off-site consultants · Develop and document technical requirements and solutions · Active participation in software development · Lead daily meetings and regular planning and review sessions (using Scrum/Agile methodology) · Lead regular design and code reviews · Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of web applications, including Web Operations, Database Administrators, and User Interface Developers · Interact with product owner(s) to ensure accurate requirements fulfillment · Interact with other Technical Leads to ensure development and adherence to standards · Interact with Web Operations team for release and configuration management · Report status of current projects and contribute to planning for future projects · Introduce new technologies, techniques, and best practices Skills and Qualifications: · Ability to work within and simultaneously lead a team · Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies · Expert knowledge of traditional SDLC · Experience with software development management tools · Expert technical skills in Web Development using a content management system (CMS), preferably Drupal · Experience with J2EE or .Net · Expert knowledge of web application security considerations · Familiarity with AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries · Familiarity with open source frameworks such as Spring · Familiarity with RESTful protocols · Expert user skills in various operating systems · Expert skills in object-oriented software design · Expert skills in SQL · Understanding of functional languages   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
