SDLC Oracle RDBMS Java CC++ Visual Basic HP ALM Test Tool TechLead (Jobs in S SAN   Requirement id 42707 Job title Tech Lead Job location in S San Fran, CA Skills required SQA Tools, SDLC, Oracle, RDBMS Java CC++ Visual Basic HP ALM Test Open Date 19-Jan-2015 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 5 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type --- Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Tech Lead: SQA Tools, SDLC, Oracle, RDBMS Java CC++ Visual Basic HP ALM Test Responsibilities: -Out clients Pharma Informatics team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Software QA to lead all aspects of QA and QA Testing of technology projects in support of gRED Early Development organization, focused but not limited to Clinical Operations. -The Sr. SQA lead will be responsible for managing the work of assigned QA resources, effectively building and tracking QA Plans and Strategies, and ensuring end-to-end quality in all phases of the project lifecycle. -Inspire the teams to do their best work and identify opportunities to improve our services. -Plan and execute functional, performance and stress testing on applications and systems using automation and manual testing. -Maintain an understanding of leading tools and technologies for development of mission critical web, database and related applications. (Mercury Suite, Selenium, Segue, etc.). -Lead the development of SQA Test Plans, Test Procedures, SQA lab standards and tool requirements. -Work closely with Project teams to ensure our testing meets their needs and timeframes. -Mentor other team members in testing processes & testing tools in order to execute Test Plans as required. -Manage work of onsite and offshore SQA testers as required. -Provide necessary support for business user/end customer during various phases of SDLC. -Create/contribute traceability matrix to link business requirements, to functional specs, to test scenarios/cases. Required Skills: -7-10 years of experience in software & web product testing, development, and deployment. -Test Plan creation (5+ yrs), Application and Business Intelligence, Data experience. -System and Network Level technical knowledge (2+ yrs). Performance Analysis (2+yrs). -Working knowledge of SQA Tools: Code Coverage, Automation, Requirements and Test Case Management, Defect Tracking Experience with Windows, Mac and Unix environments. -Experience working closely with business user/end customer to clearly understand business processes. -Must have worked and have extensive knowledge with HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management). -Multiple browser and Java knowledge. -Working knowledge of Oracle or other RDBMS systems, including the ability to run queries, read and create SQL procedures/scripts and interpret results. -Experience in testing complex client server application, web applications, Enterprise Applications such as (Informatica, Web Application, Business Objects, Qliktech, SAP, CRM - Salesforce, Financial). -Experience with one or more SQA and/or load performance measurement tools such as Silk Performer or Silk Test or Load Runner, Win Runner. -Experience supporting delivery of mission critical solutions to production organizations. -Experience in multiple computer system environments based upon platform software such as Solaris, Windows, Internet Information Server, Oracle, or SQL/Server. -Programming knowledge in one or major languages and/or scripting tools such as C, C++, Java, Visual Basic. -Strong experience leading testers. -Hands-on experience in authoring and executing manual test cases. -Possess strong process documentation skills. -Strong knowledge of software QA metrics, process performance/capability baseline and statistical techniques. -Good understanding of SDLC. -Self-driven and ability to work independently and interact with project teams. -Ability to creatively address conflicts between schedule, costs and quality goals. -A desire to learn and to explore new technologies and take on new challenges.
