Build and sustain the E-lab automation framework using the QualiSystems automation tool and other scripting language Work closely with third-party automation vendor(QualiSystems) to follow up on best practices and code structure Ensure that the design is scalable, portable and sustainable in the long run Develop building blocks/modules using TestShell for test automation that can be used by the E-lab team to customize their automated test case suite Create and manage the design documentation about the automation infrastructure built. Skill set requirement: Capable of learning new tasks and new programming language in a short time Analytical aptitude to understand complex test environments and debug issues with scripting languages. Understand the design of automation framework (harness) and process for software development lifecycle. (SDLC) Experience with working and implementing AGILE process Expertise in developing and maintaining an automation infrastructure is a must. Hands on experience with scripting in Python, Perl or Shell Knowledge of object oriented programming Knowledge and experience with QualiSystems TestShell tool is a plus. Well versed with version control and release management process 4 plus years of experience in system integration and QA methodologies Capable of working effectively in a cross functional team Basic working knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating system is a must Working knowledge about SAN and IP networking components like storage, servers and switches is desirable Experience in writing and publishing technical documents.
