Job Description : The CS Developer will be an integral part of the support and development team responsible for the production of high-level functional requirements and translating these into features within existing products as well as supporting the businesses OpenText installation. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Content Server/AppWorks developer with a strong grounding in .Net and OpenText Web Services technologies. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities • Possess excellent knowledge and experience of OpenTexts Content Server v16+. • Strong experience with the Content Server REST APIs and the AppWorks framework. • Have knowledge and experience of customization of the Content Server. • Have a good understanding of Java and .Net Framework technologies. • Demonstrable experience and skills of using OScript, WebLingo and the Builder. • Have practical experience of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management and Taxonomies. • Knowledge and experience of maintaining users, groups, permissions, security and system configurations within Content Server environments. • Customization using Content Server Application Programming Interface (LAPI), Web Services, AppWorks framework and using the Builder. • Assist, contribute and coordinate requirements and design discussions with other development teams to facilitate the conversion of existing legacy applications (Global 360 and OnBase) • Crosstrain other developers in the OpenText Content Server APIs and AppWorks framework • Share OpenText coding best practices with other development teams • Be familiar with MS SQL Server scripting. • Accomplish testing of the application, including executing tests, logging faults, and fault correction. • Have the ability to proactively monitor and report on the file system, storage and indexes. • Be able to read and interpret existing .NET code and have the ability to develop custom scripts to further improve the Content Server installation. • Deliver projects within time and budget constraints whilst maintaining a strong eye for detail. • Customization of Enterprise Scan and OpenText Capture Center • Configuration and maintenance of OpenText InfoFusion to synchronize data with other Enterprise systems You will be the person who has: • A good behavior, attitude, with creative mind, down-to-earth, ambitious and must possess a friendly personality. • Ability to perform as a team member yet an efficient independent worker. • Proactive and reactive attitude towards work. • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. • Possess the ability to learn new skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Possess strong documentation skills. • Ability to cope well under pressure and keep often tight deadlines.
