The tester will gain knowledge of Department of Human Services systems impacted by the ELIAS project. In addition to system knowledge, the analyst will be involved in all aspects of testing: Attends requirement and design walkthroughs. Create and maintain test requirements matrix. Develop test scenarios, cases, scripts to positively and negatively test the changes. Coordinate the execution of batch processing. Execute tests and log test results. Ensure acceptance and exit criteria are satisfied. Document defects, provide enough detail to direct a developer to fix the defect and guide retesting. Coordinate the population of test data based on testing requirements. Work with the business and SMEs to prioritize test scenarios. Provide support of UAT testing. Test case validation will require knowledge of mainframe file viewing and manipulation tools such as file aid. Ability to submit and monitor JCL a plus. 8 to 10 years of experience. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, will report directly to the project test manager. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience -Ability to analyze business and system requirements, as well as application technical specifications Required 8 Years -Follow and use standard SDLC documentation templates related to artifact creation (test cases, scenarios, execution plans) from RTM and Tech Design docs Required 8 Years -Create/maintain the Testing Traceability Matrix (TTM) updating the testing status of the test results for matrix reporting Required 8 Years -Ability to Identify and log defects, issues, changes, and enhancements in detail Required 8 Years -Plan, develop and execute System Integration Test (SIT) Test Cases and Test Scripts for Functional, Regression, Performance and Load testing Required 8 Years -Ability to complete work assignments, and commit to meeting deadlines within the published timelines Required 8 Years -Ability to execute tests and log testing results to ensure all acceptance criteria and exit criteria is satisfied Required 8 Years -Ability to validate internal and external data feeds using data tools in a mainframe environment Required 8 Years -Ability to create and modify data if necessary in a mainframe environment using file aid Required 8 Years -Ability to log defects and escalate issues as they occur while reviewing expected results against actual results Required 8 Years -Ability to work independently and identify issues and problems Required 8 Years -Ability to support UAT testing effort Required 8 Years -Ability to work and communication in a team environment Required 8 Years -Attend testing meetings Required 8 Years -Experience in a MVS/COBOL environment using CICS, VSAM, IMS, File aid, JCL, SQL, QMF, ISPF/TSO, MICROSOFT WORD, EXCEL Required 8 Years -Rational Team Concert toolset (RTC) Rational Quality Manager (RQM) tool experience or similar tool, Share Point Knowledge Nice to have   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
