Once the QA Coach gets to know the QMO best practices and technical environment, they will work with any teams that put in a request for a coach. This role will require 50% travel to DFW and Tulsa as needed. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Consults with internal teams to determine best QA practices, set up testing frameworks, create documentation Analyzes testability of requirements Provides testing estimate Designs and prepares Test Strategies & Approach, testing metrics and other testing artifacts. Creates test cases based on requirements and conducts reviews with development team/business users. Prioritize and Executes functional tests and regression tests Reports defects, raises issues or concerns Participates in design meetings, risk analysis meetings Provides leadership and mentoring to junior staff, interns, and business testers Create and maintain quality assurance standards and processes. Monitor common business specific quality measurement frameworks and track improvement against predefined metrics. Plan and deploy software testing and project management processes based on the current methodologies of the company. Create and monitor quality assurance-related activities at both the program and project level to ensure appropriately planned and executed. QUALIFICATIONS: • Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology a related field or equivalent experience and or training. • 6 - 8+ years software testing/QA experience • Good knowledge of testing methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.); • Web services testing using Soap UI a must • SQL knowledge to validate data. • Testing tools experience (MS Visual Studio, Team System, QC, Test Director, TFS, Mercury tools, SQL etc.) • Solid understanding of relational databases • Change agility, good verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented. • Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, sound business judgment.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
