SDLC VSAM Source Code Management Testing Program Design Flow Charts Coding Analyst   Requirement id 13795 Job title Analyst Job location in Lake Mary, FL Skills required SDLC, VSAM, Designing And Developing, Source Code Management Testing Program D Open Date 17-May-2013 Close Date Job type Contract to Hire Duration 5 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screening Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: SDLC, VSAM, Designing And Developing, Source Code Management Testing Program D ** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting ** Can submit only Green Card and Citizens ** Can submit at higher rate *** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays *** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times DT - Hours worked on Sundays RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing analysis, research, architecture, design and development of enhancements to the Fiserv credit processing system on VisionPlus application Producing accurate estimates based on requirements and functional design Creating low level technical designs from the functional designs Working with onshore and offshore developers to ensure timely and accurate code delivery Conducting software unit testing to ensure proper operations and freedom of defects Supporting QA testers in testing and in resolving issues Providing implementation support for enhancements in VisionPlus application QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Candidate will have a Bachelor Degree related to computer science or equivalent. Professional Experience: Seven years or more of experience in programming/software design and development using COBOL and CICS in an IBM mainframe environment (OS/390 – zOS). Three years or more of working experience with JCL and PROCs Seven years or more of design and development experience on VisionPLUS (8.x) Prior experience in high level functional design and architecting large CMS enhancements is a plus. Ability to bridge between business and technical teams is a plus. Self directed with a high degree of initiative and ability to perform with minimal oversight Ability to work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals Job Related Requirements: Critical success factors are technology competence, understanding of SDLC, grasp of best practices and process, ability to manage change, strong communication skills and the ability to act effectively independently as well as in a team setting. Development and support of significant enhancements dealing with interest accrual, payments, fees and billing within Posting module of VisionPlus. Primary expertise in CMS Posting module with secondary expertise in ASM, HCS and SSC/WSS strongly preferred. Experience working with VSAM and IAM files is required. In addition, must be familiar with current debugging tools such as File-Aid, File Manager, Abend-Aid, Fault Analyzer, Xpediter. Design and develop source code to perform the requirements of the application specifications. Develop test data for the purpose of testing whether the program runs and whether or not it meets application design specifications.
