Knowledge authority on Enterprise Integration. Supporting Informatica in large enterprise environments. Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skill. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience in Installing Informatica on UNIX, including upgrading versions and applying patches Strong Unix skills and shell scripting. Experience with PowerExchange, VLTrader, B2B Data Exchange, Data Quality, and Data Explorer Experience designing and Implementing backup strategies for Informatica environments. Experience automating object deployments on versioned repositories from DEV to QA. Implement capacity management and performance best practice guidelines and monitoring. Strong SQL skills and Oracle Exadata data experience a definite plus. Mandatory Skills: Responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining a scalable and high performing Informatica solution (Power Center 8.6.1,9.x) in support of business processing requirements. Upgrade experience from 8.X to 9.X is must. Performs software installations and upgrades to Informatica software packages. Maintain high availability and performance for production environments. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and SDLC environments (Informatica Application, Databases, etc.) reported through monitoring systems, support teams, and trouble tickets as per established SLAs. Collaborate with project, architecture, and release teams, providing input on architectural design recommendations, driving standards, plan and execute effective transition to production operations. Additional Requirements: Determines systems/VM resource requirements, recommends technologies to meet overall corporate and business unit requirements. Responsible for backup, recovery and tuning of application. Doing Root Cause Analysis on Production. Define operational processes for Run book and SOP documentation, automating routine operational tasks. Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes working with NOC, Operations, Development, and Management teams to ensure operational consistency and service improvement. Develops, maintains, and delivers operational Key Performance Metrics reports to IT Management and internal customers for Availability, Performance, and Capacity management. Provide coaching and assistance to other team members on daily support activities as needed. Identify opportunities for improvement, makes proposals and participates in the planning of new and enhanced technologies or services within area of expertise. Ability to make judgment calls with the help of Technical Skill on triaging and resolving Severity 1 and 2 issues.
