This developer is responsible for analyzing existing applications in order to build the new web application. Developer will report to the project manager and will closely work with Project Manager, Supervisor, Data Architect, other developers and business analysts in project activities in view of completion of project tasks. Responsibilities: Responsible for complete SDLC for project assignment i.e. Serve as technical expert on development project; participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Working with technical and business staff on detailed business requirements by using a variety of techniques, understanding business processes and technology, agency standards, federal and state policy, and ensuring strategic and project goal alignment. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Use object-oriented techniques and best practices for design, development, unit testing and deployment Development of code along with unit testing strategy & plans. Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language to development of the applications. Work with Project Manager to ensure project plan is maintained and project milestones are being met. Work with PM, technical staff and end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs of the application. Have ability to work independently with less guidance. Take agency web applications architecture and business decisions into consideration for design. Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on project. Preferred Experience: 7+ years of working experience with ASP.NET 5+ years of working experience with C#, MVC 5+ years of work experience in analysis and addressing security related issues for applications built in multiple languages. 5+ years of working experience with Oracle. (Working experience of creation of tables, packages, functions, procedures, writes triggers, data import/export etc.) Current working experience with Web Services.
