Job Description Developer: SDLC, WEB Application, Unix System Adminisrator, Visual Basic

Job Description:

The Web Developer II is responsible for developing new Web applications and enhancing existing web applications that promote effective information transfer between business systems. The Web Developer II is also responsible for identifying and implementing methods of preventing technical problems that could cause disruption to business activities and performing systems and business function analysis in support of business areas.

Job-Specific Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field is required and combined related experience as follows:

A Bachelors degree and 5 years experience in SDLC in object oriented programming environment, and 2 years concurrent experience with Java, JSP, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, JDBC, XML, J2EE, WebSphere/Weblogic, Apache/Tomcat, STRUTS, and design patterns.

A Masters Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related IT field, and 2 years experience in SDLC in object oriented programming environment, and 2 years concurrent experience with Java, JSP, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, JDBC, XML, J2EE, WebSphere/Weblogic, Apache/Tomcat, STRUTS, and design patterns.

1+ years experience using IBM Rational Team Concert.

Experience with UNIX and Visual Basic preferred.
