Responsibilities for this position include: ? Eliciting functional systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement JAD sessions, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis ? Analyze and document required data and data mapping of data exchanges ? Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and other project documents according to standard templates, using natural language ? Coordinate with business units who test, validate, evaluate systems changes ? Participate in the process of designing test scenarios Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required Experience: ? Minimum of (8) eight years experience as systems analyst (technical degree or similar work may be substituted for analyst experience) ? Demonstrated experience documenting functional requirements, technical specifications and designs for existing and new applications ? Conducting analysis of technical solutions ? Working within Systems Development Life-cycle (SDLC) Required Ability To: ? Analyze and document complex business processes ? Think analytically and solve problems ? Gather and interpret relevant data and information ? Understand technical designs and specifications ? Interact professionally with a diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts Requirements/Knowledge: ? Minimum of (4) four year college degree, or equivalent training and experience ? Knowledge of SA-BoK or equivalent use of formal systems analysis methodology ? Understanding of application programming, database, system design, and data exchanges in both mainframe and client-server environments ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred: ?
