The position will be a hands-on senior developer but also drive the evaluation and implementation of modern application frameworks and languages needed as we decommission legacy systems, build integration and API frameworks, and support the requirements of an emerging multi-platform software infrastructure. This position is part of a diverse team and will serve as a resource and mentor helping to build the technical capacities and capabilities of current staff in an agile development environment. Direct experience with a modern front-end JavaScript framework is required. Direct experience with test driven development and/or automated code testing is heavily preferred. This position will spend much of their time producing code or enabling other developers to produce. Activities include: Participating as a senior developer and code reviewer on project teams. Developing prototypes and POCs to validate technical approaches Advising decision makers and coordinating with other architects on code frameworks, code organization, and architectural decisions Implementing new technical tools and approaches within the SDLC Required Experience: Java experience Senior level javascript experience Experience creating APIs, API gateways, and/or web applications Experience with a front-end javascript framework like Angular, React, or Vue Desired Experience Experience implementing automated testing or in a test-driven development Experience with enterprise integration frameworks Experience documenting systems Experience with DevOps tools and processes Experience evaluating new technologies against business requirements SQL and data modeling experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
