This technical role will be involved in all phases of Agile development process from prototyping to production; advocating DevOps processes and methodologies, and using software tools to model, design, construct, analyze and test resilient code for a shared switching platform. The technical skills include the ability to apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. The typical activities involve: * Analyze functional requirements, design, and document solutions using specific code development toolset and methodologies * Development and support of server-based network level applications in a n-tiered, service-oriented enterprise architecture (SOA) * Maintain, optimize and enhance services, applications, and platforms including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning * Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement corrective solutions * Perform testing of various types including Test Driven Development, unit, functional, integration, automation and non-functional tests * Participate in promotion of software builds and releases across all environments as part of DevOps change management * Support production issues - on call (one week every quarter) * Collaborate with other development team members to create detailed use-case specifications, requirements and estimates * Ensure tasks and work products are completed on-time as committed by team, i.e. within promised duration and expected scope * Interface with leadership, business analysts, squad leads, IT Architects and other developers to understand requirements and develop software capabilities according to business requirements Job Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training * 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience * Strong technical, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills * Extensive knowledge of object oriented design / programming including design patterns and best practices; preference is with Java Development Environment (JDE) for enterprise platforms * Development experience using utilizing Session Control network protocols with high-availability, real-time client sessions * Work experience with development of scalable network switching services * Strong working knowledge of back-end development of session management systems including non-blocking socket connections * Familiar with user authentication/authorization security functions, and softswitch design in real-time systems * Ability to create shell commands in a Linux environment using shell commands. Scripting for utilities is preferred. * Previous work experience using Agile and DevOps delivery methods and toolsets like Github, Jenkins, and Maven. Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience * Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training * Working knowledge of proprietary HSSP protocol, Sabre HTE client CLI functions. * Familiar with front-end technologies such as HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, or AngularJS * Knowledgeable for implementing load balancing algorithms and creating open source code design * Have used troubleshooting skills with tools like Log Insight,   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
