These changes are managed, documented, and implemented by the SADLS application team. The North Carolina Department of Information Technology - Transportation is seeking a Senior Level Developer/Programmer for the SADLS development team. This position is needed to support the required work to prep SADLS COBOL code to convert to .NET C#. This is a senior level position that will be responsible for VSAM conversions to DB2 as well as any other system or application prep work that is required to assist in the overall refactoring efforts. The position requires thorough knowledge of CICS. The position also requires thorough knowledge of COBOL and Easytrieve batch jobs utilizing JCL, Zeke and Endevor. The position requires the ability to handle the implementation of small to medium scale technical efforts and the ability to complete detailed technical documentation. The developer must also be able to effectively communicate, in verbal and written form, consult with the clients and other resources and resolve technical problems.
